Book Review: Along Comes Love by Tracey Livesay

Have you ever read a book that you just couldn’t put down? Well, I am feeling some sort of way because my book has ended and I want more!

Let me backtrack here first and let you know how this all played out.

On Friday, I had the opportunity to attend a lovely Reading Salon, and several authors read from their works, including Mary Behre, Tracey Livesay, and Lorraine Heath. Each of the authors read from their recent and/or upcoming releases. The reading was spectacular, and I treated myself to the newest release from Tracey Livesay, Along Came Love.

I cracked the book open when I got home, pulled my feet under me and started to read. The characters came to life — they are 3-dimensional and you feel as though you are truly vested in their future and potential romance. I love, love, love Mike and Indi’s relationship. Can I just say that I want more of this amazing relationship. I want to see what happens with them next, and if they are ever in town, I’d like to invite them over for some pepperiment tea.

I’m not going to spoil it for you. You will laugh, chuckle and root for love to win! It’s filled with emotion, hot moments and when it comes to romance, that is what truly matters — that love wins!

Here is the blurb for this excellent book, Along Came Love!

When a silly, impulsive decision lands free-spirited India Shaw behind bars in San Francisco, she has no choice but to call the only person she knows in the unfamiliar city—the very man she abandoned after a steamy two-day fling. The fact that she’s pregnant with his child is something she’d rather not divulge.

Tech executive Michael Black never thought he’d hear from the quirky beauty after she left his bed four months ago, much less be called upon to post bail. He’s got his hands full with a corporate merger that could make or break his career, but his honorable nature—and an overwhelming need to see her again—means he can’t just leave her in jail. And when India reveals the truth about her pregnancy, Mike insists she stay with him until the baby is born.

India doesn’t want to depend on him for anything, but their constant proximity stirs up feelings she can’t ignore. She’s never desired a family before and she knows a future with Mike isn’t possible . . . but then along came love to shake up all her plans.

This is a wonderful book, and CWAB is giving it a full 5-stars! Can’t wait to see what happens next in this series, and what’s next for Tracey Livesay.

5-stars
